About Artelice Pâtisserie

Patisserie and Cafe

Artelice Pâtisserie is a bakery in Burbank, California. It is listed at 117 N San Fernando Blvd, Burbank, CA 91502, which places it among the local businesses of Burbank that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as coffee shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–6 pm. It is closed on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (818) 588-4943. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, artelicela.com.

I rarely eat at the same spot more than once, however I visited this establishment twice in a day! I am very picky about my sweets and I am not a mango fan, but the mango cromuffin recommended by staff was the pastry that made me return. The mango tasted unexpectedly juicy and fresh, the exterior was crisp and flakey, and the pasty cream was luscious, achieving the perfect balance of sweet versus tangy. I am certain the other pasties are as well executed as the mango. Additionally the owner was extremely personable and gave me a complimentary pastry with my order! All desserts were aesthetically crafted and presented elegantly behind a glass case. Everything looked too good to eat! Note: For areas of improvement, I would recommend the rest of the staff be more hospitable- for example, I came in the store and several staff stared at me and did not smile or greet me for at least 7 seconds

Impressed from the moment I walked in. The pastries were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had — everything tasted fresh, rich, and perfectly made. The croissants were AMAZINGGGGG… so flaky, buttery, and soft inside. You can really tell they put so much effort into everything they make. The owner was also super kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Such a cute spot with great vibes and incredible desserts. Definitely coming back again soon!

Artelice Pâtisserie feels like stepping into a luxury French pastry boutique. The dessert case alone is stunning, velvet textures, glossy finishes, delicate designs, and pastries that look almost too pretty to eat. I finally tried the Tropical Mango entremet along with the raspberry chocolate pastry. The Tropical Mango was easily my favorite, silky, refreshing, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The raspberry chocolate pastry was beautifully made with raspberry compote and chocolate mousse, but I’m just personally very picky with chocolate-heavy desserts. The iced vanilla latte paired perfectly in between bites of the mango pastry, super refreshing and smooth. I also ended up grabbing a few macarons on the way out and honestly every flavor was incredible, even though macarons normally are not my thing at all. Definitely worth the hype if you appreciate beautifully executed French pastries and upscale café vibes.

Everything taste as good as it looks! My husband and I were eating next-door, it happened to pass by this place. We took a gamble after having a poor lunch, and we’re so happy about the turnaround in our culinary experience for the afternoon. I had the mango looking dessert and my husband had this other thing in the photos, I forgot what it’s called. Both were absolutely delicious. We also ordered cappuccinos and they were made very well. The service was excellent and very friendly and helpful. It feels like you’re eating with family. Restaurant was cute and well kept.

This was my first time at Artelis Patisserie, and I came in without knowing what to order. I asked for recommendations, and the person at the counter was genuinely passionate and took the time to walk me through their pastries and macarons — which I really appreciated. I’m usually skeptical of French pastries in LA, but I trusted the recommendation and ordered Lé Peanut. It was beautifully executed and very well balanced — not overly sweet, with clearly defined layers. The tempered chocolate finish was done properly: glossy, crisp, and clean. I also tried the Napoleon, and it was excellent. The puff pastry was caramelized, crisp, and not soggy, with a rich vanilla flavor that felt intentional rather than sugary. I picked up two macarons as well, and they were surprisingly good — crisp shells, soft interior, and well-made fillings. The milk chocolate Earl Grey had a clear tea note, and the milk chocolate passion fruit was a great sweet-and-tart combination. Everything I tried showed real technique and care. Beautiful packaging, warm service, and clearly a place that takes pastry seriously. I’ll definitely be back.
